Ambelim SC edged past Navelim Villagers Union 1-0 to enter into the quarterfinals of the Fatima Trophy inter-village football tournament organised by Dicarpale SC and played at Dicarpale ground on Tuesday. Ambelim SC struck the match winner through Desmond Fernandes in the 56th minute. Navelim Villagers tried their best to equalise but the defence lines of Ambelim were alert in frustrating Navelim Villagers attacks.
