The Goa Football Association at its Executive Committee meeting held on September 17, resolved to hold elections to the Executive Committee of the Association. The elections will be held on October 30, at 10 am at Mahalasa Hall, 3rd Floor, Siddharth Bandodkar Bhavan, opposite GFA Office, Panaji, under the Chairmanship of Adv Pramod Kamat, Retired District and Additional Sessions Judge and former Law Secretary of the State of Goa and presently member of the Goa Human Rights Commission. The following election procedure has been approved: Dates of filing of nomination: On any working day from September 21 to 29, from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm and on September 30, from 10 am to 12 pm; Date of Scrutiny: September 30 from 12:30 pm onwards; Date on which nominations received, accepted and rejected to be displayed on the GFA Notice Board and sent to the candidates by October 7; Date of withdrawal of nominations: October 14, from 10 am to 5 pm; Date of final list to be displayed and sent to candidates and all active clubs on October 17. The nomination forms can be collected from the GFA Secretariat, 5th floor Atmaram Commercial Complex, Near Mahalaxmi temple, Panaji.
