Ashley, Alrina win tiebreaker titles

Ashley Mendes and Alrina Misquita emerged winners of a tiebreaker under-15 football tournament for boys and girls organised by Kaykee Youth Club, Dongorim. 

In all, 32 boys and 12 girls took part in the tournament. In the boys section, Ashley Mendes defeated Sonu Parasad 2-1. While in the girls section, Alrina Misquita defeated Priya Patil to clinch the title.  

Tamils Barros, Headmistress of St Anthony’s High school, Majorda was the chief guest, while Shreehari Kerkar and Antonet Fernandes were the guests of honour at the prize presentation function. Anjulo P Fernandes, Chairperson of Kaykee Youth Club welcomed the gathering while Custodio Almeida, coach, proposed the vote of thanks.
