Bhatikar Model High School beat Mushtifund High School by six wickets to win the President Cup under-14 state finals, played at GCA ground, Sanguem. After winning the toss, Mushtifund batted first and scored 135 runs in 35 overs.
Sanket Kapileshwar (28) and Omkar Parab (28) were the top two run-getters for Mushtifund. Aryan Mashelkar made 19 runs. Bhatikar bowlers bowled well with Deep Kavankar (7-1-27-4) returning impressive figures. Shrey Singh, Kedar Bhat, Sanat Neugi, Rohan Naik and Vishnu Warriar took one wicket each.
Bhatikar HS cruised to victory 137/4 in 20.4 overs. Devan Chittam 73(36 balls) played superbly to power his side to an impressive win. Vishnu Warriar made 18 runs. Mushtifund’s Kshitiz Kamat picked up 3 wickets while Sujay Parab claimed one wicket.
