Kapil and Maithili Bhobe shared the top spot in the petrol category, while Mohak emerged winner in the diesel category at the All Goa Mud Warriors Off-Road Race Championship Season 6, held at Arlem on Sunday.
Organised by Mud Warriors Agalli, Fatorda, the annual championship was held behind the Bullet showroom near the old RTO office at Arlem. The event attracted 35 participants across two categories — 13 in petrol and 22 in diesel.
In the petrol category, Kapil and Maithili Bhobe finished joint first, followed by Sam in second place and Siddhesh in third.
Mohak topped the diesel category, with Sairaj finishing runner-up and Siddesh (Saib) taking third place.
Winners and runners-up in both categories were presented with cash prizes and trophies.
BJP state president Damu Naik was the chief guest and presented the prizes. Margao MLA and PWD Minister Digambar Kamat, Curtorim MLA Milagrina Gomes, Alex Reginald Lourenco, Sunil Naik and other dignitaries, club officials and supporters were present at the prize distribution ceremony.
