Candolim Sports Club and Salgaocar FC scored big wins in their respective matches at the GFA U-16 League. Candolim thumped PVC Parra 5-1at Candolim ground. Nacent D'Souza opened the scoring for the home side in the 17 minute. Riha Khan made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. Nacent scored another goal to make it 3-0 in the 52nd minute before Joel Fernandes and Samson Fernandes scored a goal each in the 57th and 68th minutes respectively. Saheel Shaikh pulled a goal back for the Parra side in the 70th minute.
In another match at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Salgaocar FC scored a resounding 6-2 win over DBO Fatorda. The home side conceded the first goal in the 12th minute through Sujeet Kumar but managed to find the equaliser soon afterwards as Jordan Azavedo shot the ball home. The young Green Brigade's Antush Moniz shot the ball home to give his team, the lead yet again in the 36th minute before Saseej Kumar doubled the lead before the breather. At Nagoa ground, Parish Youth Nuvem and Pax of Nagoa played out a 1-1 draw.
