Title contenders Candolim Sports Club will cross swords with ABC,Arambol in the finals of McDowell's N0 1 Yaari Premier Cup inter-village football tournament organized by Agasaim Youth Club at Agasaim ground, on Sunday at 4.30 pm.
In the semi-finals, Arambol overcame Dunes Sports Club, Morjim 1-0 while Candolim Sports Club made short work of St Savio Sports Club, Calangute 3-1. Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar will be the chief guest while St Andre MLA Vishnu Surya Wagh will be the guest of honour. Fr Johncy Colaco, Vicar of St Lawrence Church, Agasaim, Agassiam Sarpanch James Afonso and Teotonio Pereira ex MLA of Sant Andre constituency will be the special invitee.
