Chandan, Ishita lead U-15 triumphs

Chandan Caro, Ishita Colaso, Yug Prabhu, Sachi Dessai, Ashank Dalvi, Anaya Shukla, Urvansh Pathak and Claire George emerged champions as the 38th Salgaocar All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2026, organised by Cortalim Gymkhana, concluded at Mangesh Maharudra Hall, Thana Cortalim.

The U-15 titles took centre stage, with Chandan Caro defeating Vedant Wagle 3-0 in the Boys U-15 final, while Ishita Colaso overcame Tisha Shaikh 3-1 to claim the Girls U15 crown. In the U-13 finals, Yug Prabhu defeated Yuvaan Sanke 3-0 in the Boys section, while Sachi Dessai downed Tisha Shaikh 3-0 in the Girls section.

The U-11 and U-9 finals also produced convincing performances, with Ashank Dalvi defeating Aarish Shaikh 3-0 for the Boys U-11 title and Anaya Shukla registering a 3-0 win over Shaurya Dessai in the Girls U-11 final. In the Boys U-9 final, Urvansh Pathak defeated Ronan Menezes Gama 3-1, while Claire George recorded a 3-0 victory over Spruha Kamat to emerge Girls U-9 champion. The tournament, one of the oldest in Goa’s table tennis history, brought together Goa's promising young paddlers in a keenly contested battle for ranking points and honours.
