MARGAO
Twin sisters Adhira Prashil Redkar and Ananya Prashil Redkar, aged 10, from Davorlim, brought laurels to Goa with their impressive performances at the 3rd All India Level-Wise Gymnastics Competition 2026 held at The Gaudium School, Kollur, Hyderabad, on August 9 and 10.
Representing Ravindra Kelekar Dhyanmandir School, Vidyanagar, Gogol, Margao, the twins put up identical performances, each winning a silver and a bronze medal.
Adhira and Ananya both won silver medals in the vault and bronze medals in the floor exercise. They also competed in the balancing beam and uneven bars events.
Their performances earned each twin two medals at the national-level competition, which featured young gymnasts from across the country.
The sisters are daughters of Prashil Prakash Redkar and Nivedita Prashil Redkar of Davorlim.
