The Centre of Excellence conducted a two-day Video Analyst Workshop on September 10 and 11 at the Goa Cricket Association (GCA), Porvorim with Pushkar Sawant and Gaurav Sundararaman serving as resource persons.
The workshop is aimed at providing participants with valuable insights and practical knowledge in video analysis, an increasingly important aspect of modern cricket. The programme focuses on developing technical and analytical skills that can help aspiring video analysts build careers in professional cricket.
Addressing the participants, GCA President and former Ranji player Mahesh Dessai encouraged the participants to approach video analysis as a serious and evolving career opportunity.
“Video analysis has become an integral part of modern cricket, helping players and coaches make informed decisions and improve performance. Workshops such as these provide aspiring analysts with an opportunity to develop the right skills and understand the professional demands of the game. I encourage all the participants to pursue this field with focus, dedication and professionalism. The Goa Cricket Association will continue to support initiatives that help create opportunities and strengthen the cricket ecosystem in Goa,” said Mahesh Dessai.
Dessai also assured the participants of the Goa Cricket Association’s continued support in their professional journey and encouraged them to make the most of the knowledge and expertise shared during the workshop.
