MAPUSA: In an exciting match, Stephen Martin scored both the goals as Youth Sports Club of Colvale registered a 2-1 win against Football Club Tuem in the GFA Third Division Football league match (Bardez zone), at Duler Stadium, here, on Tuesday. At half time Colvale were leading 1-0.
In the 35th minute, Colvale’s Stephen Martin scored the first goal of the day out from a solo effort. The next ten minutes of the first half saw both the sides struggling to score a goal.
Post resumption, Tuem produced the equalizer in the 60th minute through Stapleton Fernandes who received the ball and sent it home with ease. Colvale enjoyed a bigger share of of ball possession. In the 84th minute, Stephen scored his brace with a skilful finish to put Colvale 2-1 ahead.
