Cuncolim Educational Society’s College of Arts and Commerce recorded the biggest win of Day 5 of the Goa University Inter-Collegiate Football Championship 2026-27, thrashing GVM’s Gopal Govind Poy Raiturcar College of Commerce and Economics, Farmagudi 9-0 at the Parvatibai Chowgule College ground on Tuesday.
Swavel Furtado led the rout with a hat-trick, scoring in the second, fourth and 41st minutes. Tohib Vatlani (3rd), Jodric (8th), Gerito Fernandes (27th, 43rd), Yueraj B (40th) and Nash Fernandes (45th) completed the tally.
At the Goa University ground, Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim defeated Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao 2-0. Garrison Fernandes opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Salvador Gama doubled the lead 10 minutes later.
Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies, Mapusa, also registered a 3-0 win over Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Verna, with Prathamesh Sawant scoring all three goals in the 15th, 50th and 55th minutes.
At the Rosary Church ground, Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao beat Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola 2-0. Kreepal Dhargalkar (11th) and Chandrakant Shirodkar (37th) were on target.
Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Cujira, Bambolim, defeated Don Bosco College, Panjim 3-1. Nihar Naik (22nd), Shane Fernandes (50th) and Topon Minj (52nd) scored for SS Dempo, while Aryan Salunke pulled one back for Don Bosco in the 60th minute.
Fr Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar, produced another emphatic result, defeating Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi 6-0. Hazrath Saheb scored twice in the third and eighth minutes, while Ruben Azevedo added another in the 29th. The remaining scorers were not listed in the match report.
At Chowgule College, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, edged Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Sanquelim 3-2. Shennoy Fernandes (30th) and Carl Soares (37th, 50th) put Don Bosco 3-0 ahead before Rohan Yammatlal (55th) and Vignesh Naik (59th) reduced the deficit.
Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Quepem, defeated Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim 2-1. Sapnesh Velip (18th) and Sydroy Fernandes (55th) scored for Quepem, while Nikhil Kholkar pulled one back for Zantye College in the 65th minute.
