Damodar Higher Secondary School, Guddi-Paroda will clash with St Alex Higher Secondary School, Curtorim in the final of Zone IV U-19 Boys inter-higher secondary football tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Borimol Sports Complex, Quepem.
In the first semis, Damodar HSS defeated Shiroda HSS 5-3 (1-1) on tie-breaker. Glasleee Fernandes gave lead to Shiroda HSS in the first session of the match which was later cancelled by Ivon Costa in the second session. In the tie breaker- Handlee Carvalho, Lariston Correia, Pelly Menezees and Clinton scored for Damodar HSS while Samuel Jonathan and Lester Colaco found the net for Shiroda HSS.
In another one-sided semis, St Alex HSS of Curtorim defeated Govt.Higher Secondary Canacona 4-0 with Louie Noronha scoring a brace while Mable Miranda and Robinson Colaco scored one goal each.
