
The U-15 boys winner DBO Fatorda

Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda organised a basketball tournament for the U-13 and U-15 categories to commemorate their golden jubilee celebrations, recently.
In a one-sided U-13 finals, Sonics girls team got the better of a Fatima Convent School 28-6. Kim with 14 points was the star for the winners while Rihanna with 4 points kept Fatima Convent is the game for a brief moment.
In the U-13 boys finals, St Britto's HS, Mapusa managed to squeak past the Don Bosco Fatorda 24-18. Dillon with 14 and Nolan with 14 played their hearts out for the winning and losing teams respectively.
In the girls U-15 finals, Sharda Mandir, Panaji managed to beat Sonics 29-16. Prema with 12, Amie with 10 were in great form for the Panaji side while Keiya with 8 top scored for Sonics.
In the highly anticipated boys U-15 finals, there being loud support for both teams the home team of Don Bosco Fatorda kept building the lead with each quarter, and ultimately prevailed over Sonics 36-24. The Fatorda team used their toughness and speed to over come the Sonics boys. Sean scored 14 and Nathan 6 points for the winning team while Roy with 6 points top scored for the Sonics.
Rector of Don Bosco Oratory Fr Ralin D'Souza was present with Fr George Quadros and Melba Paes, former basketball player, sports enthusiast and aunt of tennis great Leander Paes was present to give away the prizes.
