MARGAO: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, cruised into the semi-finals of the UCV Cup 2026 with a commanding 4-0 victory over Dando Boys Club at the Church Ground, Chinchinim, on Sunday.
Don Bosco made a dream start, with Alfred Noronha opening the scoring in the fourth minute to hand his side an early lead. They maintained their advantage until the break, going into half-time with a 1-0 cushion.
The Fatorda outfit dominated the second half, with Richie Vaz doubling the lead in the 32nd minute. Clencio Pinto added a third in the 39th minute before Rahul Sharma completed the rout with a goal in the 49th minute.
With the emphatic win, Don Bosco Oratory booked their place in the semi-finals, where they will face Betalbatim SC.
Edvin Carvalho, Secretary of the Village Panchayat of Chinchinim-Deussua, presented the Player of the Match award after the game.
