Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda emerged champions of the Campeones De Futsal 4.0 tournament, edging past Underdogs Moira in a tense tie-breaker, at Campo, Don Bosco Futsal Court.
The tournament jointly organized by Lazy Boys Futsal Club and The Sports Hustle Goa, saw participation from some of the finest futsal talent across the state. The semifinalists—Don Bosco Oratory (Fatorda), Underdogs (Moira), Foot Fighters (Canacona), and Fr. Agnel (Quepem)—treated fans to fast-paced action and thrilling finishes.
Vijai Sardessai (President, Goa Forward Party & MLA, Fatorda) was the Chief Guest. He was joined by Avertano Furtado (Former MLA, Navelim) as Guest of Honour, and Eulario Rodrigues as Special Invitee.
Don Bosco Oratory lifted the coveted trophy and bagged Rs 50,000 as cash prize. Underdogs Moira finished as runners-up with Rs 30,000. In the third-place match, Foot Fighters Canacona defeated Fr. Agnel Quepem, securing Rs 10,000, while Quepem settled for Rs 5,000 in fourth.
