The fourth Goa State mini sub junior (U-14) school tennis ball cricket championship for boys and girls 2024was held at Kumbarjua. The event was organised by the Sparkling Sports and Cultural Club in association with the Goa Tennis ball Cricket Association.
The budding girls team of Cricket enthusiasts of the Dona Leonor won the third place defeating Pragati High School in the quarter-finals. The team made short work of the 25 scored in 6 overs by their competitors and scored 26 in just 1.2 overs by 2 girls, Swara Jadhav and Taishin Mudgal. Swara scored 20 of 6 balls and Taishin 4 in 2 balls. Girls Cricket sure has a bright future.
