Do Dong Hyun, the South Korean attacker of East Bengal, was not allowed to take part in the club's practice session on Saturday morning after venting his frustration on being substituted in East Bengal's 2-0 win against Aiwazl FC on Friday.

The former NorthEast United footballer landed himself in trouble when he tried to make his way straight to the dressing-room after being substituted in the 59th minute against Aizawl. A couple of East Bengal officials including former India international Alvito D'Cunha had to intervene to bring him back from the entry of the tunnel, but Dong expressed his frustration by kicking a water bottle before sitting on the bench.

The club made it clear that they deem Dong's behaviour as a breach of discipline and was asked to leave the ground before Sunday's training session. The 23-year-old was at the gymnasium thereafter before leaving the club premises.

Senior players like Ranti Martins and Mehtab Hossain also got involved and came out in support of the Korean, but the star of the Calcutta Football League (CFL) failed to avoid the club's wrath and has been handed a monetary fine also.

East Bengal will face Shillong Lajong in their next I-League match on Tuesday.
