Dunes Sports Club, Mandrem won the GFA U-20 (Taca Goa) League - Division Two recently for the third successive year.
In the course of 16 days starting from April 10“25, they stayed undefeated winning
four of their five matches and sharing spoils in the other. While they scored in all nine goals, their custodian had a clean sheet in every match.
In their first encounter, they routed Goa Velha Sports Club 6-0 at Duler. Six days later, they notched a hard-fought 1-0 win against Goan Warriors SC, also played at
Duler.
Moving to St Cruz for their next two matches, held in a space of three days from the other, they first played out a goalless draw against CS Minguel de Taleigao and then secured a well-contested 1-0 victory against Mormugao UCSC. In their last tie, they were matched against Margao Sports Club at Agasaim and returned with three points edging their fellow South Goa rivals 1-0.
