The Masters segment of the Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026 moved into its decisive phase on Saturday at the Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias and Gymkhana courts, with titles decided in key categories and finalists confirmed across multiple events.
The day’s headline act saw Serbian pair Milica and Mladen clinch the Masters 35+ mixed doubles title with a composed 7-5, 6-1 victory. In singles action, Sunil Mishra claimed the Masters 55+ crown after defeating Jai Mishra 6-4, 6-1, while Manoj Chandiramani staged a strong comeback to win the Masters 60+ title, beating Sheetal Bhosale 3-6, 6-0, 10-5.
The Masters 45+ singles final will feature defending champion Amit Tambe against Mandar Wakankar. Tambe advanced with a 6-1 semifinal win over Naveen Cardozo, while Wakankar progressed after registering a 6-0 quarterfinal victory over Mano Chhabra. Earlier in the same category, Hemanshu and Armugam M both recorded emphatic 6-0 wins to move through the bracket.
In doubles, Mandar and Ashish stormed into the Masters 90+ final with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 win over Jaydeep and Vivek. In the Masters 120+ category, the father-son duo of Shrikant and Amit Tambe booked their place in the final with a 4-2, 4-2 victory over Chandiramani and Jeyavel. The Masters 110+ final will see Ashutosh and Bipin, who defeated Srinivas and Guruprasad 6-1, take on Sagar and Ashok, winners over Sachin and Kevin by 6-3.
Jointly organised by Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias and the Gadre Group, in association with the Goa State Tennis Association (GSTA), the tournament has attracted a record 555 entries across the Masters and Open segments. The Open category matches are scheduled to begin on Monday.
