Aivao Youth Club twice came from behind to down Don Bosco Oratory 3-2 in a Goa Football Association Third Division League match played at Taleigao ground, on Friday.
Starting in attacking fashion, Don Bosco Oratory scored in the 18th minute through Flynson Fernandes, which turned out to be the only goal scored in the first session. Aivao managed to net the equalising goal at the hour mark through Pandurang
Gawas.
Back to square, Don Bosco went in front in numbers and used their flanks to attack the opposition and restored the lead in the 75th minute through Johnson Kanjulna. But their joy was short-lived as Manoj Gawas scored the leveller within two minutes.
The teams played end to end football in the last quarter of the game and neither side was ready to settle for a point. With just 10 minutes to go, Damodar Naik gave Aivao YC the lead for the first time and they sustained it till the end to walk away with the hard-earned three points.
