Batting first, Kerala posted 302 runs in 83.4 overs before bowling out Goa for 219 in 70.5 overs.
Arjun S. Hari starred for Kerala with a magnificent 130 off 192 balls, while Jaydev J. Nair contributed 36. For Goa, Afrid was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4 for 31 in 15.4 overs. Om Khandolkar claimed three wickets, while Mihir Kudalkar took two.
Chasing 303, Goa made a poor start but Aditya Kota fought a lone battle with a valiant 107 off 163 deliveries, including 10 fours and a six. Mihir Kudalkar added 37, but the remaining batters failed to build substantial partnerships. Thomas Mathew starred with the ball for Kerala, claiming 5 wickets for 54 runs.
Goa had enjoyed an impressive campaign in the league stage, defeating both Kerala and hosts Puducherry, while their only loss came against Himachal Pradesh.
