Guardian Angel Sports Club defeated Club de Salgaocar 5-4 in a tie-breaker to enter the next round of the 20th Goa Police Cup 2026 at Rosary Church ground, Navelim.
The match remained goalless in regulation time despite attacking play from both sides. The contest was decided on penalties, where Guardian Angel converted through Fhezer Gomes, Moises D’Sa, Fedrich Fernandes, James Fernandes and Fulzacio Cardozo. CD Salgaocar scored through Felixson Fernandes, Salvador Gama, Thokchom Beckham Singh and Denil Rebello.
