Dempo Sports Club delivered a dominant performance at the Duler Stadium on Tuesday, routing FC Goa 4-0 in a one-sided Goa Professional League 2025-26 Super League fixture.
The damage was done swiftly in the first half, primarily through the brilliant display of Player of the Match, Rahul Peter Rodrigues. Rahul opened the scoring just five minutes in and doubled the lead two minutes later, securing a rapid brace for his side.
Velanco Elisson Rodrigues continued the assault, finding the back of the net in the 22nd minute before adding a fourth goal during stoppage time before the half, sending Dempo into the break with a commanding four-goal lead.
FC Goa were unable to mount a challenge, and the second half saw a more tactical affair, featuring several substitutions from both sides aimed at providing experience to under-21 players.
The match concluded with some late disciplinary action, as Vellington Fernandes and Stenis Touthang received cards.
