As many as 25 colleges will compete in the Goa University Inter-College Football (Women) Championship 2026–27, which is scheduled to begin on September 22.
Organised under the university’s Sports Section, the tournament will feature teams from across Goa, with matches being played at the Goa University Ground, Rosary Church Ground in Navelim, Chowgule College Ground in Gogol, Margao, and Atal Stadium, Bambolim.
The opening matches on September 22 are scheduled at the Goa University Ground, Rosary Church Ground and Chowgule College Ground. Fixtures are listed for 9 am, 11 am, 1.30 pm and 2 pm, with further matches planned on September 23 and subsequent dates.
Atal Stadium, Bambolim, is scheduled to host matches on September 30 and October 3. The fixture schedule may be revised as required for the smooth conduct of the championship.
According to the tournament notification, participating teams must report 30 minutes before their scheduled match and submit their players’ lists along with jersey numbers. All players are required to carry their identity cards, failing which they will not be allowed to participate. Teams must also bring their own first-aid kits.
The championship will provide women footballers from colleges across Goa with a competitive platform to showcase their skills and teamwork.
