Guardian Angel HSS Zone IV girls football champions
Guardian Angel Higher Secondary School, Curchorem thrashed St Alex Higher Secondary School, Curtorim 3-0 to emerge champions of the Zone IV Higher Secondary Girls inter higher secondary football tournament at Sports Complex ground, Borimol, Quepem. The winners led 2-0 at half time.

Guardian Angel Higher Secondary School, Curchorem took the lead in the 10th minute when Denica Fernandes beat St Alex goalkeeper with a powerful shot from inside the goal area. Guardian Angel Higher Secondary School increased the lead when Siniola Pereira scored her team's second goal from almost 30 yards out when her powerful try gave no chance to the St Alex goalkeeper. In the second half, St Alex HSS, Curtorim girls went all out in search of a goal but Guardian Angel defence stood firm and gave no chance to their opponents. Guardian Angel girls made the issue safe in the 29th minute of second half when Relima Dias scored her team's third goal with a powerful volley.
Lydia Barreto and Rudra Dukle moved into the Under-15 Girls and Boys singles finals, at the All Goa Major Ranking Badminton Tournament, organised by Ponda Shuttlers in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and DSYA, at Sports Complex, Ponda.
