Ishita Colaso is poised for a triple crown at the Priority Gaspar Dias Open All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, storming into the U15 Girls, U19 Girls and Women’s finals, where she will face Aarna Lotlikar and Neeza Kamat in the U15 and U19 title clashes respectively, while Urvi Surlakar joined her in the Women’s final.
The U13 girls final will witness a title clash between the two top seeds Sachi Dessai and Tisha Shaikh. The tournament is being organised by Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias at its club premises in Miramar, in aegis with Goa Table Tennis Association.
In U15 Girls semifinals, Ishita defeated Tisha Shaikh 3-1, while Aarna Lotlikar edged past Sachi Dessai 3-2. In U19 Girls semifinals, Ishita overcame Gianna George 3-0 and Neeza Kamat defeated Aarna Lotlikar 3-1.
In Women’s semifinals, Ishita beat Anushri Naik 3-0, while Urvi Surlakar edged Neeza Kamat 3-2 to book her place in the final. Earlier, in Girls U13 semifinals, Sachi defeated Inara D’Souza 3-1 and Tisha downed Vanlalrinzuali 3-1.
