Joston goal powers Fatorda past Ambelim

Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, scored a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ambelim Sports Club to advance to the next round of the 47th St Joseph Festival Inter-Village Football Tournament 2026, organised by Dramapur Sports Club at Dramapur Football Ground on Thursday.

Both teams were locked 0-0 at half-time.

In the second half, Fatorda’s Joston Dias netted the winner in the 48th minute to seal victory for his side.

Joston Dias was adjudged Man of the Match for his winning goal. The award was presented by Nazareth D’Costa, club secretary, Dramapur Sports Club.
