The last ten minutes of the game were very lucky and crucial for FC Goa as they drew with North East United FC, 1-1 in their previous match at the Fatorda Stadium on Wednesday. This was Goa's last home league game of the ISL2.
The defender from France, Gregory Arnolin played entire 90 minutes against NorthEast despite injury and was very content with his decision to play.
"I am happy because we finished the game good. Nobody has qualified but winning a point was good. The last ten minutes were the best for us," said Gregory about the previous match.
In the 53rd minute Sanju from the rival team tried to create a scoring opportunity on the right flank. He sent a cross into the box but Arnolin Gregory was well in at the right place at the right time to clear the ball.
FC Goa will play their next match against Kerala Blasters. "They are good and all the teams are in the fight for the top four spots," said Gregory.
"I was very happy with today's overall game as we gave a good fight as a team on the whole. It was complicated at the same time because conceding one goal did mean a lot," he concluded.
