A five goals blitz by Lenminlun Doungel and a hat-trick by Suraj Chettri helped Kerala Blasters Football Club maul Raman Vijayan Soccer School 12-2 in Group II playoff in Hero Youth Elite Under-18 League at Rosary grounds, Navelim here on Wednesday.
The floodgates opened in the very 3rd minute when Lanchenha Maibam put his team in front. The goal spurred the Kerala Blasters to mount tremendous pressure. Lenminlun Doungel scored the second goal in the 4th minute. In the 10th minute, Doungel struck second time when he beat the rival goalkeeper with a neat finish. Down 0-3, Raman Vijayan intensified their attacks and in the 21st minute Siva Sakthln reduced the defict. Unperturbed, Kerala Blasters Football Club upped the ante and in the 24th minute, Lenminlun Doungel scored his hat-trick.
