Kirbhatt B prevailed over Milagres Boyz to emerge champion in the Shining Stars football tournament at Church Ground, Nuvem. Both the teams were tied 2-2 at full time. Milagres Boyz gave tough fight to Kirbhatt B to win the match but Kirbhatt B strikes gave no chance by Dagley, Riston, Rimon. On the other side, Milagres Boyz forward Sanford, Darwin & Macky missed out number of goal chances. In the tie-breaker, Kirbhatt B scored through Dagley, Roston, Rion, Gammy, and Ryan while for Milagres Boyz Sanford, Darwin, Alloid and Macky scored. Kirbhatt win by 5-4. The Chief Guest, Nuvem MLA Wilfred D’Sa and Fr Peter, Assistant Parish Priest of Nuvem gave away the prizes to the winners and runners up.
