Loyola High School, Margao pipped St Rita's High School, Maina 1-0 to emerge champions in the Salcete Taluka Under 17 boys inter-school football tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Government School play grounds, Cuncolim.
Both the schools displayed attacking brand of soccer and created equal number of scoring chances.The pattern of the match was the same in the second half, with Loyola High School maintaining the upper hand as far as attacking was concerned.The lone goal of the match came in the second half when Aaron Baretto bulged the net.
