Margao Cricket Academy U-14 team on its tour of Jaipur-Gwalior ended their Gwalior tour on a winning note by defeating Tansen Cricket Academy by 32 runs at Kiddy Corner School ground, Gwalior.
Winning the toss and batting first, MCA scored 200/8 in 40 overs with skipper Kaushal Singh (76) leading from the front. Sanath Nevagi (32), Fardad Postwala (17), Devan Chittiam (15) and Saish Satardekar (15) batted well for MCA. For Tansen CA, Ram Yadav (4-30) was the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, Tansen CA were bundled out for 157 runs in 35 overs against some disciplined bowling by Kaushal Singh (4-20), Sanath Nevagi (3-30) and Saish Satardekar (2-18). Rishikesh Desai took one wicket.
A day before, MCA lost to Dream Valley Academy by seven wickets. Put in to bat by DVA, MCA were all out for 110 runs in 32 overs with Kaushal Singh scoring an unbeaten 45 as he didn't get any support from the other MCA batsmen. Lokesh and Abhay took three wickets each. DVA reached the target with seven wickets in hand and 10 overs to spare.
The MCA U-14 now proceed to Agra to play their last match of the tour on Wednesday against Chahar Cricket Academy, Agra.
