Rebello set the tone for CES, scoring three goals in the first half as they led 3-1 at the break with Umesh Gaonkar pulling one back for GCASC. However, after resumption GCASC made a fine comeback with Veliston Dia leading the charge by scoring two goals for a thrilling draw. In other games, Father Agnel High School and Rosary Higher Secondary School, Navelim notched huge victories in their junior boys and senior boys qualifying games respectively.
