MARGAO: Navelim Sporting Club thrashed Dicarpale Sports Club with a commanding 5-0 victory to secure a spot in the quarter-finals of the Marcus Mascarenhas (Mark) Memorial Trophy tournament, organized by Sarzora Sports Club at the Chinchinim Church Ground.
Navelim SC took an early lead in the fourth minute, setting the tone for the match. The second half saw Navelim dominate, with Atif Shake, Nash Pereira, Ronaldo Pereira, and Venito Costa all finding the back of the net. Nash Pereira was awarded the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
