Navelim Sporting Club dominated the game right from the word go and nearly found the success in the very second minute when Covan Lawrence found Travis D'Souza inside the rival penalty box but the last named shot straight into the hands of the goalkeeper. At the other end, St Anthony's -- who were struggling to catch up with the rivals' brisk game, had a chance when Franky Fernandes picked up the ball from Kevin Vaz but the former's try was well collected by Navelim Sporting Club goalkeeper.

he minor hiccups, Navelim Sporting Club regrouped quickly. Alvito Colaco's freekick was well trapped by Anil Shivolkar, who surprisingly shot wide from close range. Navelim however drew the first blood through Aulon Gomes' glancing header off a Travis cross in the 21st minute.
Post resumption, Navelim Sporting Club continued to exert pressure on the rival citadel and they increased their tally when Alvito Colaco punished the rival goalkeeper with a neat finish in the 37th minute. Three minutes later Alvito Colaco registered his brace to make it 3-0.
Navelim Sporting Club will meet Rossman Cruz Nagoa Verna in the quarter-finals on December 2.
