Neeza Kamat and Aaron Farias stole the show at the Ulhas Jewellers-BPS Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2024, held at the multipurpose stadium in Fatorda, achieving remarkable victories.
Neeza emulated the feat previously achieved by Tanisi Kirtani, emerging as the star player of the season's opening tournament by winning titles in the U-15, U-17, U-19, and women's singles categories. Aaron was equally impressive, clinching titles in the U-17, U-19, and men's singles categories.
The tournament, organized under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association, also saw standout performances from other young talents. Among the boys, Yug Prabhu (U-11), Chandan Caro (U-13), and Atharv Dhulapkar (U-15) secured titles, while in the girls' section, Sachi Dessai (U-11) and Ishita Colaco (U-13) emerged victorious.
