Nevilla powers SCC Sows to victory

SCC Cavelossim Sows beat Goa Velha Saints 2-0 in the GFA-Vedanta Women's Football League at Cuncolim ground on Sunday. Nevilla Colaco scored once in each half.

SCCC Sows brought into their game a lot of confidence after their 3-1 win over Albert's Princesses in the previous game at Sirsaim ground, while Goa Velha Saints had played out a goalless draw against Flaming Oranje there. And it was no surprise as Sows took the lead in the 30th minute of the game through Nevilla Colaco. Moving over, Sows were the better side as Nevilla doubled the lead in the 65th minute.
On the other hand, Goa Velha Saints clearly lacked energy and ideas as they failed to mount a challenge on
Sows' goal.

FAG futsal probables

The Futsal Association of Goa (FAG) has announced 15-member probables each for men's and women's squads for the special camp to be held from December 4 at Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda to select the State team that will compete at the Senior National Futsal Championship. The national championship will be held from December 8-12 at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa.
