MARGAO: Nuvem Veterans registered a 2-1 victory over Fatorda Veterans in the All Goa Late Veterans Football Tournament on Friday.
Nuvem took control early and went into the break with a 2-0 lead. Wilson Fernandes opened the scoring before Joaquim Dias added the second to give Nuvem a comfortable advantage at half-time.
Fatorda fought back in the second half, with Presley Pereira pulling one goal back. However, Nuvem held firm in the closing stages to secure victory.
