The Tiatr Academy of Goa in collaboration with Tiatr Timesorganised the Sketch the Tiatr Artistes earlier this week. The event took placealong the Banks of River Mandovi, Bystanders during the IFFI Celebrationsstopped to view the event from across the road near Dempo House. Vishnu SuryaWagh, Chairman Kala Academy was the Chief Guest of the occasion and MathewSamuel, the Director of Art and Culture was the Guest of Honour.
Performers who played out tiatr aficionados favourites werealso present at the event.
Fine artists from Goa College of Art sketched the tiatrartistes who were interested in getting themselves sketched. The portraits willbe preserved by TAG as documentation in its library.
