PANAJI
Goa's first FIBA 3x3 Challenger event will be held on November 1 and 2 in Panaji which will see the participation of some of the leading teams of the world, informed Fr Ralin D’Souza, Vice President of Basketball Federation of India (BFI).
The competition will serve as a qualifier to the Hong Kong Masters and will feature 13 teams including four from India.
Besides the quartet from the host country, teams from Austria, Serbia, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Croatia, Montenegro, Japan and Saudi Arabia will be seen in action at the two-day championship.
The teams are Vienna, Austria, Liman Huishan NE Serbia, Antwerp TOPdesk Belgium, Lausanne Sport LS Switzerland, Paris France, Podgorica Kodio Montenegro, Zagreb 3BL Croatia, Mumbai Patriots India, Sagamihara 3BL Japan, Bengaluru INBL India, Gurugram 3BL India, Chennai 3BL India and Alula Saudi Arabia.
