With the match drifting towards Parish Youth, Don Bosco Oratory made last ditch efforts and it bore the fruit late in the second half when Ashley Araujao's well executed freekick eluded the rival goalkeeper to level the scores.
In the penalty shootout, Godfrey Mascarenhas, Ronnie Fernandes, Standly D ‘Mello were on target for Parish Youth, Nuvem while Roque Borges and Roger Azavedo converted for Don Bosco Oratory. Parish Youth, Nuvem were richer by Rs 45,000 and Don Bosco Oratory had to settle for Rs 35,000.
Bleyuhton Baretto of Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda and Rogef Colaco of Parish Youth, Nuvem were adjudged as best goalkeeper and best defender respectively.
Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardessai was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Nuvem MLA Wilfred D'Sa, Nuvem Sarpanch Dr Breezy Baretto and other dignitaries. Jerose Olveira, President of Parish Youth, Nuvem welcomed the guests while Jose Colaco proposed a vote
