PANAJI: The annual 21st PJF Football Coaching Camp concluded at the SFS Seminary football ground, Bastora. Aldona MLA Glenn Ticlo was the chief guest for the concluding function. He praised the camp director, Pascoal Joao Fernandes, for his efforts in training youngsters in the sport over the years. Ticlo distributed prizes and gifts to the coaches, volunteers and trainers. Thirty-eight participants attended the camp under the guidance of Celvin Fernandes (SAG coach) and Thomas Fernandes. Celvin Fernandes was presented a memento by the camp director for his 11 years of support to the camp. Pascoal Joao Fernandes also distributed certificates to the participants as well as gifts and football shoes. Ex Sarpanch Cosme J A Martins, Assistant Director John Muniz were also present on the occasion. The official camp flag was lowered by Ticlo.
State to have four skating teams
THE GOAN NETWORK CANACONAA 12-day skating coaching camp organized by Canacona Sports Academy (CSA) concluded recently.Certificates of participation were awarded to the participants at the hands of Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar and All Goa Skating Association President Subhash Naik in the concluding function held at KTC Complex, Chaudi.
