Churchill Brothers FC held Geno Sports Club to a 2-2 draw in the GFA Professional League match held at Tilak Maidan, Vasco, on Sunday.
Geno Sports Club started strong, with Suraj Gurang scoring in the 6th minute to put his team in the lead. Abelon Jachi doubled their advantage in the 42nd minute. However, after the break, Churchill Brothers FC staged a comeback, with Janio Fernandes finding the back of the net in the 64th minute.
As the match approached its conclusion, Geno Sports Club faced an unfortunate turn of events when their own player, Sahil Inamdar, accidentally scored an own goal, levelling the score at 2-2.
