BLAST FROM THE PAST
Arpora Sporting Club was established on August 15, 1992, launched by Wilfred D'Souza, then chief minister of Goa at Shri Chawranginath Temple, Arpora, Simvada. August Braganza was the founder president of the club, while Babli Mandrekar was its first secretary. Arpora Sporting Club was formed to promote sports and cultural activities in the village and the team participated in various inter-village and GFA tournaments, while also organising its own tournaments.
TROPHIES WON
Arpora Sporting have won many prestigious tournaments like Bandodkar Trophy, Johney Memorial, Ciano Pereira, Karma Cup, Kanekar Trophy, European Cup, Mobor cup, Dona Alcina, Candolim Lakhanpal, Calangute Panchayat Cup, Candolim Panchayat Cup, Anjuna Chapora Panchayat Cup, Xetrapal Cup, Siolim Villagers, Mardol Cup, Nerul Panchayat Cup, Sharad Pawar Trophy, while also winning their own tournament, Arpora Sporting Trophy five times, besides other tournaments all over Goa.

FUTURE GOALS
Recently, the club has shifted its focus towards grassroots development, starting its own youth development programme in partnership with Goa Football Development Council. Although they have cut down on their participation in inter-village tournaments, the club fields teams in GFA age-group tournaments.
