Rosary College, Navelim blanked Fr Agnel College, Pilar 5-0 in the inter-collegiate football championship, at Goa University ground, on Thursday.
In the first half, Rosary College scored four goals. Meloshka Carvalho netted a brace while Aniela Barretto and Lillian Fernandes were on target.
In the second half, Rosary College continued their offensive play and scored one more goal through Aniela Barretto.
At Rosary College Ground, Navelim, DM's College and Research Centre, Assagao defeated PES's RSN College of Arts and Science, Farmagudi 3-1. In the first half, PES's RSN College opened the scoreline through Syloney Fernandes. In the second half, coming back stronger DM's College scored three goals in quick succession which was scored by Ridah Shaikh, Sanjana Mavlankar, and Bhumika Gawander to register a comfortable victory 3-1.
In the second match, Carmel College, Nuvem registered a comfortable 3-0 victory over SS Dempo College, Cujira. In the first half, Carmel College showed their full dominance and scored two goals through Rashal Vaz and Vanisha Vaz. Post-resumption Nayya sealed the victory for Carmel College.
