Santa Cruz Boys Sirvodem emerged champions of the Navelim Interward TYFC Trophy Football Tournament, defeating Spring Boys Mandopa 4-2 in a thrilling tie-breaker. The match was organized by the Telaulim Youth Club and was held at the Government Primary School grounds in Telaulim.
Fr. Valentine Alvares Chaplain of Mt. Carmel Chapel was the chief guest for the event, with other distinguished guests on stage including Edwin Cipru Cardozo, ex-ZP member, Romeo Gomes, President of the United Club of Telaulim, Julio Fernandes, Donald Dias, Daniel Pires, Benzila Teles, Roosevelt Teles, Alex Coutinho, and Rafilina Dias.
Santa Cruz Boys Sirvodem took home a cash prize of Rs. 45,000, while the runners-up, Spring Boys Mandopa, received Rs. 35,000 and a trophy.
