Sarzora Sports Club beat CAC Cansaulim 2-1 to move into the quarterfinals of the Late John Cruz Ferrao Memorial Cup football tournament, organised by Carmona Sports Club, at Village Panchayat ground, Carmona on Monday.
Sarzora settled down into a fine rhythm right from the start and in the 14th minute, Chadel put his team in front. However, the lead was short-lived as immediately Agnelo equalised for CAC Cansaulim.
After the break, Sarzora SC pushed forward in search of a winner and it was delivered by Nigel. Chadel of Sarzora was adjudged as the Man of the match.

Parish Youth, Nuvem routed Ambelim SC 3-0 to move into the quarterfinals of the Curtorim Panchyat Cup, organised by Maina Sports Club, at Curtorim ground on Monday. Cedar Colaco, Flatorn Quadros and Rahul Pereira were the goal getters.
P Y Nuvem will now meet the winners of the match between Rossman Cruz Verna and Gloria SC, Raia, on February 26 in the quarterfinals.
