Sporting Club Davorlim stormed into the final of the 5th Betalbatim Villagers Cup 2026 with a convincing 4-1 victory over hosts Betalbatim Sporting Club at the Panchayat Ground, Betalbatim, on Saturday.
Davorlim took the lead through Milton Colaco before Ajay Raj doubled their advantage. Dickson Rogtao came close to adding another when his powerful effort struck the crossbar and went out of play.
Ajay Raj then struck again before half-time to complete his brace and give Davorlim a commanding 3-0 lead at the break.
Betalbatim changed their approach after the restart, using quick passes to take control of the game. Their efforts paid off when Raj Kerkar pulled one back to make it 3-1.
Davorlim, however, remained composed and restored their three-goal cushion through Adrash Raj to seal their place in the final.
Adrash Raj was named Player of the Match and received the award from Anthony Fernandes.
