Sicofa FC Mardol got the better of St Enes Ponda 1-0 in a 5-a-side football tournament organised by Pandavas FC Mardol at Mangueshi ground, Ponda.
The winner was scored by Atish Kerkar. Sicofa FC bagged a prize of Rs 10,000, while Enes were awarded a prize of Rs 6,000 beside the trophies. In all, 57 teams participated in the tournament.
Individual prizes: First scorer of final - Atish Kerkar (Sicofa FC Mardol), Pandavas Champ - Hanumant Pednekar (Merces Boys), Best Player of the tournament - Pasha (St Enes).
Chief guest for the tournament, Shreyash Pednekar, gave away the prizes in the presence of Shubham Naik, President of FC Pandavas Club, and Vibhav Naik, Vice-president of FC Pandavas Club.
